Session 29 - The road to Dougans Hole.

As they leave the crash site and head to town they start to spot tracks in the snow, tracks made by a large creature who appears to have four hoofs and a tail, but doesn't appear to be a dragon. 

They come up on the beast who appears to be heading in the direct of Dougan's Hole and find a very large armored beast which they identify as a Bulette. They work out the beast is hungry and is looking at them as food. It turns to face them and lets out a loud roar. 

Kurash and the wolves move into the trees for cover and prepare to attack. Nox follows, Throt Nogok, the Acolytes move up to get closer, and the Kobolds flank to the south. 

The party attacks and everyone manages to land some good hits on the Bulette as they move in close to corner the beast, the Acolytes acting on Throts orders are facing off against the beast, as it rears up and stomps them into the ground killing both of them instantly. Nox casts shatter behind the beast making its attention focus on the loud noise behind it, and the kobolds relish in the hits they land with their javelins. 

Layton continues to hit it with his laser pistol and he is inspired by Etch's music which he puts the following words to

When my girl friend gets

pissed at me, she pulls

out her laser gun and

and I immediately take

a knee, I have to be quick

on my feet and even a bit

acrobatic, she is fast on

the draw and chances are

I will surely get whacked...

The beam may miss me and

hit a tree, it instantly boils the

sap and blows to smithereens,

If I am by chance in the vicinity

of this deadly ray, I will be pushing

up daisies for sure by the end of

the day.

"

The battle continues and Etch casts his game changing Dissonant Whispers which causes the beast to turn and flee, in this case enabling most of the party to land attacks of opportunity on the beast as it turns tail. 

They manage to take down the fleeing beast thanks to the wolves who knock it prone as it tries to run from Etch's terrible singing. 

And they continue on to Dougans Hole
