After dealing with the breach the party continue on with Agnajuk and arrive at the Island of Solstice abode of Aurial.
They are dropped off at a dock clearly made for giants, huge steps work their way up to a path where an Ice Mephit sits watching over them. Seeing Kurash is a Water Gensai it speaks to him in an language unknown to the others in the party.
"I am Sopo, I live here on the island serving the ice mistress, I am bored with my duties would you like me to show you around."
The party agree and he asks them where they would like to go, giving suggestions on seeing the shipwrecks, checking out the latest victim who died trying to access the island, or some of the statue gardens (one of which is along the way to the dead visitor)
They agree to check out the victim, and as they travel they get glimpses of, what Sopo calls Grimskalle, a frost giant castle shaped like a skull on a mountain in the center of the island. Along the way they arrive at a garden of statues made from Ice, incredibly detailed and magnificent in every way.
As they admire them Etch decides to take a leak on one to see if they are real animals under the ice, as he does this Sopo starts to warn Etch not to but, Etch ignores him. The winds stir and the fog thickens and in front of them appears a giant owl like figure who speaks in a booming voice, who dares deface my statues with their filth, not waiting for an answer Auril claps her hands and a shockwave ripples through the snow. She stares at Etch and says you will die for that and disappears, Etch suddenly feeling venerable to the cold.
Shaken somewhat the party continue on until they reach another garden of statues, this one is a little different as its clear that they were actual animals, which Sopo explains had died on the island.
As they look around here, hiding under a snow drift is am Ice Troll who saw them coming and hid, they fight it and mange to take it down, Valynne explains that the heart has properties which may help them with things like regeneration etc Nogok chomps away at the heart gaining the ability to regenerate.
They finally arrive at the shipwreck site, and find the victim of the Islands extreme cold frozen in the snow, her hand protruding and holding an orb.
Valynne rushes forward and is able to Identify it as her professor orb, and seeing a Familiar weasel scurry around the body she is able to identify the Victim as Nass Lantomir. Nogok grabs the orb and as he does a ghostly figure leaves the body and enters his, he works out quite fast that he is possessed by Nass as does Valynne, who has a conversation with her old colleague from the Arcane Brotherhood.
They speak of the race to the Codocil of White, and are able to agree that she will come along for the ride, as she is stuck haunting the island anyway.
As they are wrapping up a loud roar screams out of the mist as an abominable Yeti and two companion Yetis appear with murder in their eyes at Etch. Nox casts Tongues and they are able to determine that the Yeti was sent by Auril to avenge Etchs Urinary transgressions. The party are able to fight them off, and then Sopo explains that on the far side of the island there is a cave with more Yeti's. They decide to head there and manage to take down the rest of the Yeti nest.
They set up camp in the Yeti cave in a Tiny hut and sleep for the night while they plan their next move.
