Session 15 - Bunch O'Knuckleheads.....

Heading to the Inn in Bremen the party hear rumors of a Wizard who is to be executed in Easthaven. The Wizard is being held by the town militia and will be burnt at the stake in 3 days time, for the murder of several adventurers.

They are unable to determine much more than that and decide to head to Easthaven to check things out. On the way there they stop by Bryn Shander and head in to the Northlook to catch up with Scarmsax the inn keeper, he tells them of a party that plan to head up Kelvins Cairn, a party came to town looking for a guide as they wanted to track down Oyaminartok a lycanthrope Goliath who can transform into a Polar Bear. She is said to be the strongest of all Goliaths and many seek her out to test their strength against her. Scramsax sent them to Targos to seek out Garrett who would be a good guide to take them up the mountain, and suggests that the party head to Targos and join them if they are seeking an adventure.....after an awkward silence, Etch lets him know that the party encountered some trouble and they had to recover Garretts body and return to his partner in Targos.

Kurash and Nogok head to black iron blades with their crag cat skins to have them tanned, and Nogok asks for the dwarven Scale mail to be modified to fit his larger frame, with the two sets of armor, Garn the smithy says he can do that in a tenday, and that Nogok should head out the back with his sister Elza for a fitting. Nogok asks to have an image of a swooping raven on the front of the armor and Garn says he can do that.

The party head out towards Easthaven and as they approach at dusk they see a large glow lighting up the sky, it seems that all the townsfolk are trying to get as close as they can to the bonfire in the middle of which is a limp form tied to a stake. As they watch people push for warmth, they are approached by a hooded figure who introduces themself as Imdra Arlaggath, captain of the Militia.

Imdra tells them she is concerned for the wellbeing of a four fishermen, in a boat named the Bunch o’ Knuckleheads, was last seen heading up the east shore of Lac Dinnishere and that she would very much appreciate them seeing if they can track the boat and its fishermen down. Things can get competitive around the good fishing spots and she is concerned for their wellbeing.

She suggests that they head to the Wet Trout Inn and see if they can borrow a boat they agree to check things out and head that way.
