Session 46 - Transport

 The party head out via Bremen to the far north by sled, they are able to locate the whaling hut, the location at which to summon Angnajuk. As they arrive they realize they had been followed there by a group of Whalers who saw them leave Bremen.

Thinking that the party were also hunters the whalers thought that it was best to follow the group and steal whatever lead it was they were following. As the whalers confront the party (they are used to being the bullies) things do not go well, and end up with one of the whalers dead and the rest fleeing into the tundra. 

Searching the hut they find several days of aged firewood and not much else, they see the bell out on a small dock a short walk across the ice and drag one of the thugs bodies out to put on display. They stand on the dock and ring the bell. Which attracts some giant vultures to the area and the party makes short work of them.

The Whale appears shortly after Angnajuk is an incredible sight to behold. A giant sperm whale with a ship strapped to her back, and on top of that a giant glass bubble. She asks what they want of her and is skeptical that they are also whalers looking for he flesh. 

The party state their aim is to get to Auriels Island, and they require transport. They show the slain whalers and explain that they are allied with her and mean to protect her. She agrees to take them and explains that they will need supplies. They go back and get the firewood and some other supplies from Vallynnes sleds. 

Vallynne leaves her kobolds here with instructions to protect her gear from the whalers should they return, and Throt asks Holgi, Zilbo and Snorp if they wish to remain or come with the party. After much deliberation Throts Kobolds decide to come along for the ride.

The party boards the ship and makes themselves at home and the first day passes without much incident other than a late in the day stop to refresh the air and clean out the waste buckets.
