Session 40 - Oops

Looking around the room with the statue to Deep Deurra they find two rooms adjoining, the one to the west contains clothing that looks like it has been collected from captured travelers, the room to the east has mundane weapons. Each room has arrow slits that look over the main forge area and they see lots of Deurgar at work on towers overlooking the main forge, and search some more, they discover that there is a secret door in the room with the statue to Deep Deurra, they open the door and follow the hallway, at the end there is another door, and they hear murmuring from the other side followed by blood curdling screams. 

They open the door and see two Duergar interrogating another who is tied to a pole in the centre of the room, her arms bound above her head and her naked body covered by burns. They take down the two interrogators and free the prisoner who is unable to speak common, they signal to her and say Xaradoc and Grandolpha while showing a thumbs up and down for each one, she nods at Grandolpha thumbs up, dons her clothing and armor and collects her weapons, and leaves the room. 

As they decide what to do they hear thumping at the door, they sneak it open a crack and a war pick swipes in at them, seeing several enlarged Duergar in the hallway, they barricade the door, and block the secret entrance they came from, with an iron maiden from the interrogation room. They start to fight the Deuragar and manage to take several of them down, as they are in combat the secret door opens and the Iron maiden falls over, but no one is there. They continue to fight the giant Duergar that keep coming from the north, as Javelins start to come from the secret door.

The clear out the Duergar from the hallway and as they take a breath they see a single Guard who appears to be sleeping at the end of a long hall to the north, Kurash sends wolfie who sees several guards down hallways, along the way to the sleeping guard, Kurash is able to relay this, Nogok sneaks up the hallway and is standing next to one of the side passages when he is hit bit a Duargar. He returns the hit and uses a thunderous smite, which alerts the rest of the floor to their presence. Nox explores to the south east and finds a bedroom which is very luxurious.
