Session 54 - The end for some......

Grimdur starts the dance of combat by hacking at Rahadin with the sun blade, as soon as his activates it the normally quiet hilt screams in his mind "Kill Strahd." And he feels a tugging towards the dark lord. He has to make his way there through Rahadin first however. 

After an enthusiastic first strike he pulls a muscle in his forearm impeding future attacks.  Denzel steps up and also attacks Rahadin with his now flaming scimitar, also making an amazing first attack but fumbling the second.  Ismark casts Bane on Rahadin, Escher and Strahd who is standing staring at the party looking hungry and amused. 

Strahd moves to attack snowball, doing a bunch of damage to his soft supple body, Rahadin attacks Grimdur returning the favor for the savage strike from the sun sword. Strahd grabs Snowball and gets ready to bite him. 

Baromar runs in and attacks Rahadin also the poor drow elf feeling like is the enemy of all which he kind of is. Baromar uses flurry of blows to beat the snot out of poor Rahadin followed by Gnarvick who throws and acid ball at Rahadin and Escher, hitting Rahadin but Escher manages to dodge it. 

Pallas who is clearly not fucking around decides to Fireball the contents of the room, that are not his err friends, dealing a bunch of damage to the vampires and their friends, causing Strahd to leave the room by way of the floor which he casually floats through and out of range of the party.

Everyone turns their attention to Rahadin who forces psychic damage onto them by turning the volume up on the screams of his victims, Denzel puts away the Scimitar and takes a shot at Rahadin using his longbow, the first arrow hits its target, on the second attempt his quiver strap breaks and his arrows fall over the floor. 

Ismark seeing his friends take a beating from Rahadin casts healing word and turns his attention to talking to Ireena. He quickly concludes that his sister is lost to him, as she tells him he is nothing to her, and he will die at the claws and fangs of the master. 

Rahadin attacks again to which Baromar responds with a barrage of punches and kicks, his reduced health activating the lightning powers in his arm tattoos. Snowball starts to touch himself to heal, Gnarvick slings some more acid. 

Pallas fires off another fireball and Rahadin drops to his knees as his body burns to ashes. The Screams of his victims falling silent. 

Grimdur moves to flank Escher, using some inspiration from Snowball he makes the attack count, Ismark decides to share the love around and casts mass healing word. Baromar steps up and takes down Escher ending his sad undead servitude to Strahd, then vaults the table and does the same to Ireena but manages to do it in a way that keeps her alive. They restrain her and plan the next moves.
